Protect

The PR exists to supplement and help support independent rescue groups on a world wide platform that assist the Dogue de Bordeaux. There is a grant application process and approved organizations are able to receive funding to help dogues in their rescue program with a limit per dog and an annual limit per rescue group. This is to help subsidize veterinary costs of ddb’s that incur large bills for their rehabilitation and care.

Requirements are as follows. Groups must complete an application to become a supported or partnered group. In order to qualify, they must be a recognized Not for Profit, legal charity, recognized by their countries government. Small, publicly funded Animal Shelters may also apply. There is a per dog limit of $500 (this could change as we grow) and an annual per group limit of $10,000 (this too could change as we grow). Special circumstances for larger amounts will be considered on an individual basis and must be approved by a majority of the board vote.

Reducing the impact on Rescue groups and protecting and helping the breed is the core of our mission.
